Cartoon Drawings of Handbags come to Life

JumpFromPaper Handbag

Two Taipei-based designers have created a playful and innovative line of handbags called JumpFromPaper. One afternoon Chay Su and Rika Lin started sketching their dream designer bags on paper and what they came up with next would change the way you look at bags forever.

The two designers thought to themselves, “How amazing it would be if a two-dimensional hand-drawn illustration could come to life as a real bag!” They explored every possibility, rendering fantasy handbags in perspective, and they came up with JumpFromPaper handbags.

Their line of bags have cartoon-like outlines and bright colors. Even though ttravel-feverhey have a slim 2D appearance, the JumpFromPaper bags have roomy interiors. Many of the bags can accommodate for iPads and tablets. When you see pictures of the designer bags on people it looks like they were photo shopped in. It seems as if someone took a picture and then drew a handbag on them. This is what makes the bags so unique and original.

One look at a JumpFromPaper bag is just not enough. If you have one of their bags on your shoulder you will definitely receive many double-takes from people, maybe even break a few necks. They look like they are something straight out of a cartoon or anime. The handbag company has items for both men and women.

The bags went on sale last October, and sold out in the first two days. Their unique design and mind-boggling look makes them desirable. They are modestly priced between $75 and $100, making them affordable to everyone. You will definitely remember the first time you saw someone with a JumpFromPaper bag!
